Treatments for Common Warts and Plantar Warts

Warts are very common, especially amongst children.

They are caused by a virus call the human papilloma virus (HPV) and they are contagious.

You can treat common and plantar with treatments from your local pharmacy. They take between 2-6 weeks to work.

You can soften the wart in warm water before treatment then use a pumice stone before putting on liquid treatments.

It’s best to see your doctor if you are diabetic, pregnant, have re-occurring warts or have warts on your face or warts other than the common wart or plantar wart.
